Our friendly team will treat you as an individual, and go out of their way to meet your needs and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

  • What time is check-in/out?

    Check-in is 2pm to 10pm. Check-out is by 10am. Late check-out (12 noon) is available for £20.

  • Is parking available?

    Parking is available in the nearby public car parks – Bootham Row or Marygate (3-4 minutes walk away) – costing £15/day. Permits for this are available from our reception. (Blue Badge parking is free adjacent to the hotel in Bootham Row for the length of your stay).

  • What are the breakfast options?

    Cooked full English breakfast (£10). We also offer a varied selection of cereals, fresh fruits, yogurts, cheese, ham, pain au Chocolat, croissants and toast, with a selection of conserves/spreads. Breakfast is served 8–9:30am in the dining room.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    There is no cancellation fee unless the accommodation is cancelled within 7 days of arrival when the full price will be charged unless we can re-let it.

  • Are pets allowed?

    We have a no pets policy.

  • How far are you from York Minster?

    We are a 5 minute walk from York Minster

  • Do you have an access statement?

    Our Access Statement:

    Yes, there are three steps at the front of the building, three steps internally on the ground floor and two steps at the rear entrance. We have 10 ground floor rooms with either one or two-step access. Please email or ring before booking to check availability of these specific rooms.
